PURPOSE: A circuit breaker is provided to accurately sense the off and trip state by sensing the rotation position of the movable electrode. CONSTITUTION: A circuit breaker comprises a fixed electrode(11) having a fixed contact(12); a movable electrode(21) having a movable contact(22) corresponding to the fixed contact, wherein the movable electrode is disposed to be rotatable among the input position contacting the fixed contact, off position separated from the fixed contact, and the trip position having a rotating angle larger than the rotating angle of the off position; and a sensing switch(71) for sensing the off position and the trip position of the movable electrode by contacting the movable electrode.
