METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SOFT MAGNETIC POWDER BY TWO STEP COOLING MOLTEN METAL EXTRACTION

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing soft magnetic powder having superior soft magnetic characteristics by suppressing transformation of super-lattice displayed in a soft magnetic alloy by two step cooling molten metal extraction is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing soft magnetic powder by two step cooling molten metal extraction comprises the steps of supplying soft magnetic molten metal(3) in tundish(20) to the surface of a cooling roll(1) rotated; injecting a cooling gas onto the slab from upper and lower sides of slab solidified and moved on the cooling roll; leading the slab moved along the cooling roll in cooling water; and heat treating the cooled slab, and milling the heat treated slab, wherein the slab is formed in a strip or flake(9) shape, and wherein a nozzle part of the tundish is divided into a plurality of slit shaped nozzle parts so that the soft magnetic molten metal is formed into two or more of slabs at the cooling roll.
