PURPOSE: A brush roll width adjusting apparatus of degreasing facility is provided to prevent degreasing defects due to brush roll flaws by adjusting width of brush roll installed inside the degreasing facility correspondingly to width of strip. CONSTITUTION: In a degreasing tank of degreasing facility comprising a cleaning solution injection pipe and a brush roll(106), the brush roll width adjusting apparatus comprises a cylindrical rubber plate(11) to which the brush roll is elastically contracted and expanded, and to the outer circumferential surface of which brush hairs(10) are adhered; and a plurality of supporting bodies(12) installed on rotation shaft(20) of the brush roll as supporting the rubber plate in a cylinder shape with the supporting bodies spaced apart from the inner circumferential surface of the rubber plate in a certain distance, wherein a rotation means for integrally rotating the respective supporting bodies and an adjusting means for adjusting a gap between the supporting bodies are installed on the rotation shaft to vary the overall length of the brush roll correspondingly to width of strip, wherein the rotation means comprises driving motor(21), sprocket wheels(22,23) and chain(24), and wherein the adjusting means comprises driving cylinder(30), operating bar(31), key groove, key, and elastic spring(32).
