PURPOSE: A savonius impeller is provided to modify the structure of the savonius impeller to improve the rotation speed and prevent snow or rain from lying on lower end plates. CONSTITUTION: A savonius impeller includes upper and lower end plates(30,40), and at least one or more blades(50,60) mounted between the end plates to be applied with repulsive force, wherein at least one of the end plates has a cover plate(32,42) formed convex toward the blades. The end plates have flat disc type plates(31,41) respectively at the opposite side of the cover plates. |
