PURPOSE: A tire tread rubber composition which can easily adjust properties required in automobile tire such as riding comfort, stability in handling is provided by using a reinforcing resin composed of silicate and phenol formaldehyde. The composition maintains general tire properties even though the grade of carbon black is changed for cost reduction. CONSTITUTION: The tire tread rubber composition composed of a base rubber selected from synthetic rubber, or a mixture of synthetic rubber and natural rubber, carbon black, process oil, zinc oxide, stearic acid, anti-aging agent, wax, sulfur, and vulcanization accelerator, and the like, further comprises 0.5-10 pts.wt of reinforcing nano-scale resin consisting of silicate and phenol formaldehyde resin based on the 100 pts.wt of the base rubber. Specifically, the reinforcing nano-scale resin comprises 5-20 wt% of silicate having 2.3±0.5% of specific gravity and 1-4 nm of interlayer distance, and 80-95 wt% of phenol formaldehyde resin modified with CNSL (cashew nut shell liquid). |
