PURPOSE: A polymer electrolyte and lithium battery using the same are provided to improve swelling property of battery, thereby inhibiting the swelling of battery and ensuring the reliability of battery. CONSTITUTION: The polymer electrolyte includes a polymerized product of a composition for forming polymer electrolyte comprising: (i) at least one compound selected from a group consisting of poly(ester) (meth)acrylate which is obtained by converting a part or whole of polyester polyol having three or more of hydroxyl group into (meth)acrylic acid ester, and substituting the other unreacted hydroxyl groups with non-reactive radical group, or its polymer, and polyalkylene glycol di(meth)acrylate having a structure of H2C=CR1-COO-(CH2CR2HO)n-CO-CR1=CH2(formula 1), wherein each R1 and R2 is independently H or C1-C4 of alkyl, and n is 1 to 100,000; (ii) at least one compound selected from a group consisting of vinylene carbonate represented by formula 2, sulfone compound represented by formula 3, and acrylate compound represented by formula 4; and (iii) liquid electrolyte comprising lithium salt and organic solvent. |
