PURPOSE: To provide an animation reproducing terminal capable of starting reproduction, continuing from an already reproduced scene. CONSTITUTION: When stop processing is effected during reproduction of an animation content, registered in correspondence with a unique name, decode results under display are stored in correspondence with a specific name under reproduction and the temporal relative position from the head of that frame is stored. When the same animation data are reproduced again, the specific name is read, and the decode results stored in correspondence with the unique name is read, along with the temporal relative position from the head, thus sustaining reproduction of the animation.
