PURPOSE: A suction valve assembly is provided to easily process and assemble inner and outer pistons by forming the inner piston having a suction passage and the outer piston housing a suction valve for opening and closing the suction passage of the inner piston and inserting the suction valve into the outer peripheral surface of the inner piston, to prevent compressed gas from leaking between a cylinder and the piston in operation by delicately holding a gap of a sliding unit, and accordingly to improve the capacity of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A suction valve assembly is composed of an inner piston(110) connected to a mover of a motor and formed with a suction passage(112) at the inside; an outer piston(120) inserted and integrally combined to an outer peripheral surface of the inner piston to slide-contact to an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder and formed with a suction through-hole to communicate with the suction passage of the inner piston; and a suction valve(130) housed in the outer piston to position between the suction passage of the inner piston and the suction through-hole of the outer piston and to open and close the suction passage.
