PURPOSE: To generate a desired pulse width even when a process parameter in production, especially a threshold voltage of a MOS transistor or a power supply voltage in operation, is fluctuating. CONSTITUTION: The pulse generating circuit includes a first voltage output unit having a first delay circuit made up of a resistor 30 and a capacitor 32 for generating a voltage VA, which varies from a voltage of H level to a voltage of L level, based on a time constant C2R2 according to a one-shot pulse POS; a second voltage output unit having a second delay circuit made up of a resistor 31 and a capacitor 33 for generating a voltage VB, which varies from a voltage of L level to a voltage of H level, based on a time constant C3R3 according to a one-shot pulse POS; and a differential circuit 34 for generating a pulse with each pulse width which corresponds to an input of the one-shot pulse POS up to a cross point of voltage VA and voltage VB.
