PURPOSE: A flat panel display and its driving method are provided to reduce a gray level with which an OLED radiates by changing a pulse width of a gray count clock as to a low gray level. CONSTITUTION: A shift register receives n bit gray data at each column of a display pixel according to a shift clock. A latch circuit latches the data inputted to the shift register according to a latch clock. A n-bit counter(12) counts a gray count clock and outputs its counting value. A pulse width modulation circuit is installed at each column of the display pixel, and outputs a column driving signal of a pulse width according to gray data to each column electrode of the display pixel by comparing the gray data from the latch circuit with n-bit counter value from the n-bit counter. And a count clock generator(20) applies a gray count clock to the n bit counter.
