APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING UPSET OF COIL ON TRANSFER CAR

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing upset of coil on transfer car is provided which can be applied to any coil irrespective of narrow or wide width of the coil, prevents facility damage due to upset of the coil by accurately maintaining the center of coil during high speed movement and improves work productivity by improving facility operating rate. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for preventing upset of coil(105) loaded on a high speed transfer car(100) for coil transportation during movement of the transfer car, the apparatus is characterized in that a plural hydraulic cylinders(10) on which rods(10a) directed toward the center of the skid are formed are mounted on both walls of a skid(130) installed on lifter of the transfer car, and buffer liners(43) are respectively mounted on an end of the rods so that the buffer liners clamp both sides of the skid to prevent the coil on the skid from being pushed out in a direction opposite to a proceeding direction of the transfer car during movement of the high speed transfer car, wherein a through hole(15) is perforated on the both walls of the skid, and a clamp bracket(20) is welded to the hydraulic cylinders in order to install the hydraulic cylinders at both sides of the skid of the high speed transfer car, and a disc type base(40) whose diameter is expanded is fixed to a front end of the rods.
