PURPOSE: A system and method for charging electronic money is provided to minimize a change of a charging system and charge electronic money issued by a plurality of electronic money issuing companies in common. CONSTITUTION: A charging terminal(110) receives charging request data from electronic money(160,170,180) and executes an approval as to the electronic money to be charged. The charging terminal(110) creates charging approval request information and outputs the charging approval request information to a charging card(120). The charging terminal(110) outputs information for approving an increase of an amount of money to the electronic money to be charged in accordance with charging approval information received from the charging card(120). The charging card(120) requests a charge of an amount of money to an electronic money accounting system(130) and increases a charging amount by a charging approval received from the electronic money accounting system(130). The charging card(120) transmits charging details to the electronic money accounting system(130). The electronic money accounting system(130) executes an accounting with other companies(140,150) in accordance with the received charging details. |
