<p>PURPOSE: A method for concealing an error of a moving picture recorder is provided to effectively restore a moving picture from error-generated bit streams by a radio transmission error. CONSTITUTION: If an error is detected from an (x,y) block, three candidate blocks for error concealment are selected from a current frame buffer or a previous frame buffer to use the candidate block having the smallest cost function for concealing an error of the error-detected block. If brightness pixels (u,v) of NxN blocks located in an (x,y) position in the current frame are (x,y,t,u,v), the three candidate blocks for error concealment are obtained by the following expression: wherein (X,Y,T) is a position of a candidate block, and (x,y,t) is a position of the error-detected block.</p> |
