PURPOSE: A power amplifier controller of a transmitter is provided to control a cooling fan and a current/voltage gain and display an operating state by detecting the high temperature, the over-current, and the over-voltage. CONSTITUTION: A power amplifier controller of a transmitter includes a power amplifier unit, a setup unit, a current/voltage detector, a temperature detector, a switch, an interface unit, a controller, an AGC unit, and a display unit. The amplifier unit(PA1-PA4) amplifies an input signal. The setup unit(150) sets up a reference signal. The current/voltage detector(80) is used for measuring and outputting a signal according to an operation of the power amplifier. The temperature detector(70) is used for outputting a temperature signal. The switch(110) is used for switching detection signals of the temperature detector and the current/voltage detector. The interface unit(120) converts the temperature signal and the current/voltage detection signal to digital signals. The controller(130) is used for comparing the output signal of the interface unit with a setup value and outputting a fan control signal and a current/voltage control signal. The AGC unit(60) compares the current/voltage control signal with a reference signal of the controller to correct the current and the voltage. The display unit(140) compares an input signal of the controller with the reference signal and displays the compared result.
