PURPOSE: A radiation curing composition, a component for LCD using the composition, a component for a solid state imaging device and their preparation method are provided, to improve radiation curing property, developability, coating property, uniformity of coating, liquid saving property and transmittance. CONSTITUTION: The radiation curing composition comprises an alkali-soluble radiation curing resin; a radiation curing monomer; a photopolymerization initiator; and a solvent, wherein the alkali-soluble radiation curing resin is at least one copolymer selected from the compound having repeating units of the formulas a1, a2, b1, b2, c1 and d, the compound having repeating units of the formulas a1, a2, b1, b2, c2 and d, and the compound having repeating units of the formulas a1, a2, b1, b2, c3, c4 and d. In the formulas, R is H or CH3; R1 is an alkyl group of C1-C18, a, phenyl group, a phenyl group substituted with an alkyl or alkoxy group of C1-C4, or an aryl or aralkyl group of C7-C12; R2 and R4 are independently an alkylene group of C1-C18, a phenyl carbamate substituted with an alkyl group of C1-C4, or a carbamate having an alicyclic group of C3-C18; R3 is a linear or branched alkylene group of C2-C16; R5 is an alkylene group of C1-C4; l is an integer of 2-30; m is an integer of 0-20; and n is an integer of 2-20.
