PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose float switch simply attachable to the outside of a liquid storage part. SOLUTION: A casing for enclosing a float 61 is formed by fitting an opening part of a cup-like casing lower part 53 into a fitting part 51a formed in a lower opening part of a cup-like casing upper part 51. A reed switch 59 is installed on the upper surface of the upper part 51, and a magnet 63 is embedded in the upper surface of the float 61. An air hole 51c is formed in the upper surface of the upper part 51, and a vent tube 57 extending upward is attached to it. A connection tube 53a connected to a waste liquid tube 47 of the storage part is mounted to the bottom face of the lower part 53. The connection tube 53a is connected to a float switch attaching tube 47a formed in the liquid tube 47 through a connection tube 53c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
