PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting terminal capable of restraining an increase in the connecting resistance with electrical wires is lowered and, especially, when the conductor part of the electrical wires is made of a twisted-wire conductor of an aluminum strand, and preventing fusion of the aluminum strand due to concentration of the current. SOLUTION: With the connecting terminal formed by punching and folding a conductive metal plate, provided with a wire connecting part 20 consisting of a bottom wall 21 and a pair of sidewalls 22, 22 formed by bending both sides of the bottom wall 21 in the same direction, the wire connecting part 20 has formed a cutting blade 26 cut and bent so as to erect from the bottom wall 21, crimping pieces 23, 25 and a pressure welding blade 24, of which, the cutting blade 26 cuts a conductive part W<SB>b</SB>of the wire W pushed in between the pair of the sidewalls 22, 22, and at the same time, gets pressure welded with its cut faces.
