PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve nonconformity that the attachment of a spacer to an anode substrate becomes extremely complicated. SOLUTION: This display is interposed between the anode substrate and a cathode substrate and provided with the spacer 6 having a long and thin plate structure and formed elastically deformably in the thickness direction and a plurality of projection parts 8A and 8B formed on a black stripe 2 on the anode substrate. The spacer 6 is locked to the plurality of projection parts 8A and 8B by a return force obtained in elastically deforming the spacer 6, so that the spacer 6 is supported in an erected state by the plurality of projection parts 8A and 8B on the black stripe 2 on the anode substrate.
