PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deduster of a cooler for sintered ore, capable of improving powder dust environment around the cooler for sintered ore by removing powder dust in a high temperature coolant gas exhausted from the cooler for sintered ore cooling sintered ore discharged from a sintering machine. SOLUTION: The deduster 10 of the cooler for sintered ore removes the powder dust 28 contained in the high temperature coolant gas exhausted from the cooler 11 for sintered ore which receives the high temperature sintered ore 14 from the sintering machine in a cooling tank 17 through an ore-feed part 15, cools the high temperature sintered ore 14 with the coolant gas supplied from a lower part of the cooling tank 17, and discharges the cooled sintered ore from an ore-discharge part 18. The dust extractor has a hood 19 covering an upper part of the cooling tank 17 and holding the high temperature coolant gas. An opening 23 for exhausting the high temperature coolant gas horizontally or downward is formed on a side part of the hood 19. A collision board 24 preventing the powder dust 28 in the high temperature coolant gas from escaping is mounted on the opening 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
