A thin-type display device where a display section can be changed from a horizontally long state to a vertically long state by one action, and where the display section can be rotated about the substantially central portion of the display section. The thin-type display device comprises a thin-type display section (1) having a substantially rectangular display face, a stand section (2) for supporting the display section (1), and a horizontal rotation shaft (3) fixed to the substantially central portion at the back of the display section (1) and supporting the display section (1) such that the section is rotatable at least 90º with respect to the stand section (2). Simultaneous movement means (21, 22, 23) for simultaneously and vertically moving the display section (1) with the display section being interlocked with rotational movement of the horizontal rotation shaft (3). |
