METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMPUTER PROCESSING OF AUDIO-VISUAL CONTENT WITH SUBTITLES

The invention concerns a method for computer processing of a digital audio-visual content comprising video and subtitles, including a prior step which consists in generating (E11), from the digital audio-visual content, first subtitle data (20) including the subtitles and data synchronizing the subtitles with the video. Said method is characterized in that it further comprises steps which consist in: analyzing (E12) the structure of the subtitles based on the first subtitle data, generating (E13) hypermedia navigating computer means adapted to the structure of the subtitles, and incorporating (E14) the navigation means in the audio-visual content. The hypermedia navigation means are operative when the audio-visual content is being read by an adapted computer reader. The invention also concerns a device and a computer programme, designed to implement said method.
