<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent a texture stain without increasing the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor 1, an electrifying section 2 for imparting charge to the photoreceptor 1, a destaticizing section 7 for removing charge of the photoreceptor 1, a transporting path 20 for conveying transfer paper 30 to the photoreceptor 1, and an opening/closing means that is structured so as to be freely opened and closed, that shields the photoreceptor 1 from outside light 21 when closed, and that allows the photoreceptor 1 to be exposed to the outside light 21 when opened. In addition, the image forming apparatus is equipped with a micro-switch which detects opening/closing of the opening/closing means and a controller which repeats, for a prescribed number of times, the charging by the electrifying section 2 and the charge-removing by the destaticizing section 7 when the micro-switch detects the opening/closing of the opening/closing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
