<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system with excellent usability capable of providing a print output along with a user's intention to the utmost. <P>SOLUTION: A block diagram representing a preferable performance form of a digital camera includes: a step S4 of acquiring information from printers A, B, C via an Ethernet 2; a step S5 of building up a user interface on the basis of the acquired information and displaying a print condition setting menu 300; steps S6 to S8 of setting a print condition on the basis of displayed choice items; a step S9 of producing a printer list satisfying the print condition set by a user when performance of print is instructed; and a step S12 of displaying a destination printer name, generating print data for a selected printer, and transmitting the print data to allow a printer to perform printing when the printer is manually or automatically selected (S10, S11). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
