<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary shaft supporting mechanism capable of facilitating the assembling process of a counter shaft, heightening the rigidity of an upper housing of a transmission, and preventing a guide member etc. from being damaged while a passage for oil is secured. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary shaft supporting mechanism 70 is equipped with a radial roller bearing 71 fitted in an upper motor housing 15 and supporting one end of a counter shaft 40, a radial ball bearing 73 fitted in an upper housing 21 of a speed reducer, supporting the other end of the counter shaft 40, installed in the condition that thrust movement is restricted, and forming a bearing side circlip engaging groove 76 at the peripheral wall, a recess side circlip engaging groove 74 formed at the inside surface of a recess 25 for mounting of a second counter shaft, and a projection 77 formed protruding at the bottom of a recess 17 for mounting of a first counter shaft. One end of the counter shaft 40 is abutted to the projection 77 while the other end is fitted in the radial ball bearing 73, and this is fitted in the recess 25, and if the upper housing 21 of the speed reducer is placed on the upper motor housing 15, the recess side circlip engaging groove 74 will be covered with the peripheral surface of the radial ball bearing 73. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
