<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manifold structure capable of effectively discharging products produced in a fuel electrode and an oxidizer electrode from respective separators, and of miniaturizing a fuel cell stack, and to provide a fuel cell equipped with the manifold structure for a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This external manifold structure 10 is composed of an upper manifold 20 and a lower manifold 30. On the upper surface 30d of the lower manifold 30, fuel discharge grooves 33a, 33b-33j respectively communicating with fuel discharge tubes 31a, 31b-31j in the lower manifold 23 are formed. The fuel discharge grooves 33a, 33b-33j are each formed into an L-shaped or I-shaped form so as to respectively guide the products or the fuel discharged from the respective separators 110 of the fuel cell 100 toward one end part 30a (right side in figure) of the lower manifold 30 on the upper surface 30d and the other side part (deep side in figure) 30e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
