<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the temperature of a screw by a temperature measuring body for the screw; to control the temperature of a synthetic resin raw material with high accuracy by controlling the temperatures of the screw, a cylinder and the like; and to perform stable operations. <P>SOLUTION: In a molten-resin temperature control method for a screw type extruder, the temperature of the synthetic resin raw material after mixing at the tip part of the cylinder (15) is measured, and cooling water is passed for cooling through the shaft core part of the screw (14); and a temperature near a surface in the screw (14) is measured, and the quantity of the cooling water passing through the inside of the screw (14) is controlled.
