<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen refill with a back-flow preventing mechanism for an ink in which a ball valve does not react with the ink and the valve mechanism effectively works after it is used for a long time, and output of the ink is not inhibited. <P>SOLUTION: In the ball-point pen refill wherein a ball-point pen chip 3 freely rotatably holding a ball 31 is connected with an ink storing tube 1 through a joint 2, a gel ink which has a statically high viscosity and whose viscosity is decreased by rotating the ball during writing is filled in the ink storing tube, and a grease-like back-flow preventing material 5 following the ink face with consumption of the ink is arranged at the back end of the ink. A valve seat 21 is formed in the joint, and a ball valve 4 comprising a synthetic resin and with a smaller specific gravity than that of the ink is arranged, and when the ball-point pen chip is made upward, the ball valve is floated up by the ascending force of the ball valve and seats on the valve seat to prevent the ink from reversely flowing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
