PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which a hard disk is destroyed by a safe method simply in a short period of time and it can be confirmed visually by a computer controller that reading data cannot be performed. SOLUTION: A housing case housing a hard disk drive device to be destroyed and a cover covering this housing case are provided on a base, a cylinder driven by a pressure source is attached to this cover, a punch head moving the piston rod back and forth forward the hard disk drive device to be destroyed and forming a through hole at a plurality of points and destroying the hard disk is provided at a tip of a piston rod of this cylinder. A plurality of points may be destroyed simultaneously by providing a plurality of punch heads at the tip of the piston rod, also the hard disk may be destroyed by moving the position of the housing case on the base, and forming a through hole at a plurality of points by moving the piston rod back and forth for a plurality of number of times.
