PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which the complication of an operation in switching a mode is dissolved and waiting time in switching the mode can be shortened. SOLUTION: An ocular detection part 35 including a reflection-type photosensor detecting an ocular state is arranged near an optical finder inside the digital camera. When a photographing person looks into the optical finder in photographing, a light reception level from the reflection-type photosensor exceeds a prescribed value and the ocular detection part 35 is turned on. When the ocular detection part 35 is turned on, a microcomputer 51 decides that the optical finder is used, and performs a switch processing from a reproduction mode to a photographing mode. When the photographing person averts his or her eyes from the optical finder, the light reception level from the reflection-type photosensor becomes lower than the prescribed value and the ocular detection part 35 is turned off. When the ocular detection part 35 is turned off, the switch processing from the photographing mode to the reproduction mode is performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
