PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing simply and in a large quantity fine particulates which are controlled in the size and the size distribution according to a material of targeted application. SOLUTION: The process comprises adding, into a solution of an organic or inorganic material dissolved in a good solvent, a poor solvent of the above material miscible with the good solvent and thus reducing the concentration of the material, and it is characterized by giving an associate, a polymer, or a crystal having a particulate size of 100μm or less.
