PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust core being produced by compression molding and heat treating iron powder mixed with insulating bonding resin in which flux density is increased while reducing iron loss as much as possible and cutting and drilling can be carried out without causing any cracking or chipping. SOLUTION: Mixture of atomized iron powder, reduced iron powder, and thermoplastic polyimide powder or thermoplastic polyimide and polytetrafluoroethylene powder is compression molded.
