DATA TRANSFER CONTROL SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT, PROGRAM AND DATA TRANSFER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer control system, electronic equipment, a program and a data transfer control method that can reduce a processing load of decoding processing on commands. SOLUTION: When a command packet ORB (SBP-2) transferred via BUS1 (IEEE 1394) is received, a command included in ORB is issued to a device connected to BUS2 (ATA(IDE)/ATAPI). A sufficiently large DMA data length having a constant length irrespective of the type of the issued command is set to command a start of DMA transfer to the device on BUS2. The DMA transfer is aborted when the device on BUS2 notifies an end of command processing. The DMA data length of the constant length adopts a value larger than the storage capacity of the storage or a value larger than a command specifiable data length.
