PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent noise generation by preventing temperature off-balance by suppressing partial boiling in a heat transfer pipe for the bath during hot water supply, when preventing abnormal noise of a heat exchanger of a one-can two-water channel type heat exchanger of a hot water supply apparatus with a bath heater. SOLUTION: When starting a burning operation of a hot water supply circuit 19 in stopping a circulation circuit 18 for the bath, a circulating pump 12 is operated to generate a flow in water in the heat transfer pipe 13 for the bath, and a partial boiling state is prevented from occurring in a stopping state of the water. The temperature off-balance among the heat transfer pipe 13, an endoergic fin 17, and a combustion chamber drum 16 due to boiling is also prevented. Thus, occurrence of strain due to turbulence of an expansion state is suppressed to eliminate generation of abnormal noise. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
