PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication equipment which reduces power consumption by performing control of start/termination of transmission of an inquiry message until there is a response from the radio communication equipment being a connection opposite party. SOLUTION: The radio communication equipment to be connected by a radio communication system constituted of one master radio equipment and at least one slave radio equipment by radio provided with a means for switching an inquiry message transmitting operation state or a page message transmitting operation state and a no-operation state at fixed time intervals until the radio connection partner is confirmed after power-on.
