PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored coating material whose coloring material is hardly deteriorated with UV light and which has various performances enabling its application as an outdoor coating. SOLUTION: This colored coating material is characterized by comprising (i) colored particles prepared by coating the surfaces of base particles with a coloring agent comprising (a) a binder, (b) a coloring material, and (c) a metal oxide having an average primary particle diameter of <30 nm, (ii) a metal oxide having an average primary particle diameter of 30 to 200 nm, and (iii) a binder as essential components.
