PURPOSE: A mounting bracket of a fascia mounting-type gearshift lever is provided to reduce passenger's injured degree by absorbing the impact produced when a passenger bumps against a fascia mounting-type gearshift lever assembly in a vehicle accident. CONSTITUTION: A mounting bracket of a fascia mounting-type gearshift lever comprises a mounting frame(3) one side of which is rotatably combined to a lower frame(1), and support rods(5) connecting and supporting the lower frame and the other side of the mounting frame. A separable fixing unit, fixing the mounting frame while the mounting frame secures a path for rotating downward about the lower frame, is installed to the support rod. The separable fixing unit comprises a hook part(7) formed to the upper end of the support rod in a shape of bending inwardly from the outside of a closed curve formed by the mounting frame, the lower frame, and the support frame, and a bolt(9) and a nut(11) for fixing the hook part to the mounting frame.
