<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance, power generation, and service life while reducing manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel electrode material for a solid oxide fuel cell retains high performance of the fuel electrode for a long period as well as improves the performance by optimizing the weight mixture ratio and particle size ratio of zirconia 8YSZ hving stabilized structure by nickel oxide NiO and 8 mol % of yttria. Specifically, the weight mixture ratio of coarse grain equivalent YSZ powder: NiO particle powder: fine grain equivalent YSZ powder is set to 4:6:1. Under this weight mixture ratio, the particle sizes of coarse grain equivalent YSZ powder, NiO particle powder, and fine grain equivalent YSZ powder are set to 27.0μm, 1.0μm and 0.4μm, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
