<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut off water penetrating from a core wire exposed to a connecting part by connecting an earth terminal to a wire end. <P>SOLUTION: The core wire exposed from the earth wire end and formed by twisting a large number of element wires is caulked and pressed to the earth terminal, to which a core-wire pressing barrel and an insulating coating pressing barrel are protruded from an electrical connecting part having a bolt-mounting hole and a base board that is continued to the connecting part. The insulating coating of the wire is caulked and pressed to the earth terminal by the insulating coating pressing barrel. The insulating coating of the earth wire in the vicinity of an earth terminal pressing part is peeled off at its middle part and the core wire is exposed, a large number of the element wires of the exposed core wire are welded, and water penetrating inside the wire from a press-connected part with the earth terminal is cut off, thus shrinking the exposed core wire including the welded part by winding it with a tape applied with silicone or covering it with a thermal shrinking tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
