EXTREMELY LOW FREQUENCY OSCILLATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and inexpensive extremely low frequency oscillating device capable of being put into practical use and oscillating an extremely low frequency with a simple system without the need for employing a complicated circuit comprising many components.

SOLUTION: The extremely low frequency oscillating device is provided with: an element 1 that comprises a wire member or a thin film body made of a material having a PTCR characteristic whose resistivity is rapidly increased within a temperature range and generates a vibrating current by applying a voltage to the wire member to produce a hot spot under a low oxygen partial pressure; a power supply 4 to apply a voltage to the element 1; and a conversion circuit 2 to obtain a voltage with a low frequency from the element 1.
