<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a writing utensil which is highly solvent-resistant to a solvent used in an ink for the writing utensil and fully meets the requirements of solvent permeability and moisture absorption even under various environments, and superb ink keeping quality over time and endures a stress at a joint part. <P>SOLUTION: This member for a writing utensil which comes into contact with at least the ink for the writing utensil is formed of a molding resin which contains not less than 30 wt% of a cyclic olefin resin, preferably, not less than 50 % of the cyclic olefin resin to the tensile elongation properties prescribed by ASTM D 638 and/or desirably shows the Izod impact strength (notched) of not less than 40 J/m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
