PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely maintain an image data management system environment with excellent convenience under which a management server can perform unitary management of image data with aligned data form by automatically distributing the image data in an appropriate data form to a specified image management server.

SOLUTION: This image data management system is constituted so that an image conversion server 1 refers to a management table registered in a memory 306 with respect to original image data to be inputted from an image input PC via a communication part 304, an image conversion part 302 selects either of a conversion processing program 302-1 or a conversion processing program 302-2, converts the selected program into a predetermined image data form and transfers an image data set including at least an original image data and image data after conversion from the communication part 304 to another image management server under the management of a control part 301.
