<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having efficient maintainability of repairing, part replacement and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 29 acquires maintenance-related information related to maintenance of associated electronic equipment 20, 30 input by a user's operation from an operation part 21. Upon a fault, the control part 29 uses a fault detection function 291 to acquires information showing the fault status also as maintenance-related information. The control part 29 stores the acquired maintenance-related information in a maintenance information database 28a in a storage part 28.
