PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrostatic charge image developing toner whose electrification stability is excellent over a long term, with which high image density is obtained as full color toner without having surface fogging and toner scattering, whose saturation, transparency, light fastness and fading resistance are excellent and also whose cleaning property, transfer property and particle property are excellent, developer incorporating the toner, an image forming method using the toner and an image forming apparatus loading the toner. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge developing toner is obtained by dissolving toner composition including modified polyester resin urea-coupled in organic solvent, making polyaddition reaction in a water medium, removing and cleaning the solvent of dispersed liquid and incorporates at least colorant, and the colorant incorporates at least compound shown by a general expression (1).
