PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preamp unit of an X-ray detector for an X-ray CT apparatus and the X-ray CT apparatus using the same in which connector extracting and inserting work for cable junctions is easy even if a multipolar SMT type straight connector is used. SOLUTION: By mounting the SMT (surface mount technology) type straight connector on both faces of a preamplifier substrate, changing the arrangement of the substrate into a slanting form with a level difference, and preparing two kinds of connecting cables, taking out and inserting of the connector becomes possible also in the preamp unit on which the SMT type connector is mounted, miniaturization of a multipolar signal cable and high density packaging of the preamplifier substrate become possible, and it is also possible to cope with a further increase in a slice and an augment in acquired data.
