PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for controlling a pest insect, hardly imparting unpleasant feeling to a user or a neighboring person, hardly causing reduction of capture efficiency, and usable for multipurpose use except the use for capturing and controlling the pest insect. SOLUTION: A belt-shaped body 3 having chemicals attached thereto is supported by supporting members 4 and installed so as to be freely sent out or drawn in through an opening 2 of a base body 1. An adhesive for capturing the pest insect, an insecticide, a repellent, a growth inhibitor of an insect, an inhibitor of blood sucking, an ovicide and a phytoncide are cited as the chemicals. The belt-shaped body 3 can be the one wound into a roll shape, and preferably, can be heated in a sent out state or exposed to blowing air in the sent out state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
