PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing insecticide-scattering fog, by which a haze agent capable of being mixed with an insecticide without forming foam is used to scatter the insecticide. SOLUTION: This method for producing the insecticide-scattering fog comprises spraying the haze agent 53 in 200 to 650°C high temperature gas to gasify the haze agent and then cooling the gasified product by the utilization of a difference between the inner temperature and the temperature of the outer air to produce the fog. The haze agent comprises≤50 vol. % of water, 1.0 to 3.0 vol. % of an emulsion type defoaming agent, and the remainder of at least one chemical agent selected from ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and the like.
