PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a snagging removing apparatus for fishing a sweetfish and simply and rapidly removing the snagging irrespective of the position of a long-handed hook causing the snagging. SOLUTION: A head 12 is provided in the tip of a shaft 11 and the head 12 is equipped with a fixed part 24 and a rotating part 25 composed of a wiry member. The fixed part 24 is curved and formed into a hook shape and the rotating part 25 is curved and formed into a nearly U shape. The rotating part 25 is mounted through a swivel 26 on the fixed part 24 and is opened and closed relatively to the fixed part 24. The head 12 is mounted through a connecting part 13 on the shaft 11.
