PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reel body from increasing the size in a reel body of a spinning reel. SOLUTION: A first hole part 20a making a housing space 2e communicate with the exterior and supporting the end of a screw shaft 16 is formed at the rear end of a body member 20. A nearly U-shaped engaging part 21a formed protrusively to the rear and having an engaging hole 21b on the inside is formed near the first hole part 20a of the body member 20 at the rear end of a lid member 21. A closing member 50 is fixed with a screw member 60 at the rear end of the body member 20 so as to cover the first hole part 20a. The closing member 50 is a platy member having an engageable part 50a in which a part is formed so as to intersect the central shaft of the screw shaft 16 at right angles and protrude in the transverse direction. The engageable part 50a is engaged so as to be inserted into the engaging hole 21b of the engaging part 21a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
