A non invasive method for screening and prenatal diagnosis 5 fetal aneuploidies including the following steps is described: collecting a maternal peripheral blood sample; separating fetal from maternal cells; identifying separated fetal cells; counting of identified fetal cells; assessing a sample exhibiting a number of fetal cells at least double than control one as positive with respect to foetal aneuploidy.
