PURPOSE: A power steering system is provided to install a flow control valve, controlling flow according to the speed of a vehicle, to a hydraulic hose forming a passage between a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic control valve. CONSTITUTION: A power steering system comprises a hydraulic control valve(140) installed with interposing a hydraulic hose(130), to control hydraulic pressure supplied from a hydraulic pump(120) to a power cylinder(113), and a flow control valve(170) installed to the hydraulic hose connecting the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic control valve, to control the flow supplied to the hydraulic control valve according to the speed of a vehicle. The flow control vale comprises an adjusting unit for adjusting the opening degree of the passage, and a solenoid operating the adjusting unit. The solenoid is controlled by a controller(160) connected to a torque sensor(161), a speed sensor(162), and an angular speed sensor(163).
